Snapshots

Freeze the estate's Delivery Optimization configuration under a name, then compare it with any other snapshot, a day DoctorDO recorded automatically, or the estate as it is now. Take one before you change a policy.

Take a snapshot

Reads the estate now and keeps a summary of it: counts of devices per setting value and per site, never a device.

2 of 50 named snapshots used.

Stored in this browser only. This is a sample estate with no server, so a snapshot you take is kept in this browser’s local storage on this device. It is sent nowhere, nobody else can see it, and clearing the site’s data removes it.

Compare

Pick any two: a snapshot, an automatic daily point, or the estate as it is now. The answer opens below.

Automatic daily points are the configuration DoctorDO records every day, so they go back further than your own snapshots. They hold the estate as a whole, without sites, collector versions or the baseline result.

Before Sydney fallback change

Sydney is about to raise the foreground cache-server fallback delay from 30 s to 300 s while its Connected Cache fills. Baseline for judging Autopilot times there.
